Planning with Jessica: project planner

|

Hello friends! It’s Jessica again, and I’m excited to share some great news with you. My team and I are preparing a fitness app. As an experienced trainer and blogger, I understand how important it is to offer people effective and accessible solutions to achieve their fitness goals. We are confident that our app will help everyone become better, and today I will tell you how the preparation for this project is going.

I record all the important information in my notebook. You can find this and similar items on our website or in the app, where there are also exclusive planners, trackers, stickers, and covers.

Project Essence

The idea of our app is simple but powerful: to create a platform where users can find personalized workouts, recipes, healthy lifestyle tips, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. Our app will include the ability to track progress, feedback from trainers, and many other features that will make fitness accessible and fun for everyone.

Mind Map and Brief

In the first stage, we gathered all our ideas into a mind map. This allowed us to visually present the structure of the app and its functionality. We discussed the key sections: workouts, nutrition, motivation, community, and integration with wearable devices.

Our brief includes the following key points:

Project Passport

An important step was creating a project passport, which includes information about goals, timelines, budget, and key milestones.

The project passport became the foundation for our planning and further actions.

Task Distribution Within the Team and Creating a Kanban Board

For task distribution within the team, we used the Agile methodology. We created a Kanban board where we listed all current tasks, dividing them into three columns: “Planned,” “In Progress,” and “Completed.” This way, we can visually track our progress and respond quickly to any changes.

The project of creating a fitness app is an exciting and complex task that requires teamwork and a creative approach. I hope this article inspires you to create your own project. It will be a little easier for you, as you now have a rough idea of how to get started.

Thank you for reading!

See you!
Your Jessica
